Oreoluwa Omotayo Olajide is a senior lawyer with over three decades of post-call professional and managerial experience. He has a brilliant and analytical legal mind, specializing in core litigation, commercial and general legal practice, company secretarial law, corporate governance, and insolvency.
His ascension to the top, from the courtroom to the board room of corporations, including Emerging Markets Telecommunications Services Limited (EMTS) trading as 9mobile, where he is currently Company Secretary, Director of Legal Services, is the result of his professionalism.
Before his current role at EMTS(9mobile), where he provides Company Secretarial advisory, Commercial advisory, Interfaces with key/critical stakeholders and regulatory agencies, and Litigation and Dispute Management, he was an Interim member of the company’s Board of Directors from June 2017 to November 2018.
Olajide, a 1986 law graduate of the University of Lagos who was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1987, is a member of different professional associations, including the International Bar Association, Nigerian Bar Association, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, London, Institute of Directors, and Society for Corporate Governance
